Consuming Connections

Children of immigrants often struggle to relate to their parents’ cultural background, as they lack a connection to important aspects including language and dress. This can lead to an experience of cultural disconnect. This project explores people’s relationships with cultural dishes, and how these can offer an opportunity to connect with one’s cultural heritage.
