Reflections

Kathleen Stever

Empathy is defined as the ability to mirror the emotions of another person. This is essential for interpersonal understanding and our potential to take on perspectives unlike our own. This project aims to explore our capacity for empathy, as well as facilitate self-reflection. Through engagement with customized hand-held mirrors and prompt cards, exhibition visitors are encouraged to reflect on their relationship to the emotional state of others.
